Riding his bike down 8th street in Corvallis one day, Paul spotted this Divco parked in front of the dairy with a FOR SALE sign in the window. Having never seen one up close, he stopped to take a look. A grin overtook his face as a milkman came out to give him a ride. Although it was impossible to justify even the paltry $200 price on any kind of rational basis, the grin factor prevailed, and soon the Divco became a landmark that sat in front of Paul's pad.
The Divco served as a playhouse for many a neighbor kid, and made an occaisional Sunday morning trip downtown for sticky-buns. When Paul split Corvallis, he sold it to a fledgling frozen yoghurt company for $250. Cars can be a really cheap hobby.
